ENJOY THE VIEW

Sierra City is about 15 minutes up the mountain. From there, you can get a breathtaking view of the valley. We highly recommend sightseeing when you are here.

 

WINTER HITS THE RIVER

There is nothing quite like seeing snow on the rocks in the middle of the river. This particular area is just up the road from our Inn.

 

GO SNOWSHOEING

When Downieville is covered in snow, the entire town becomes a wonderful place to go snowshoeing. If we don't have snow, there is a snow park approximately 20 minutes up the mountain.

 

OUR BACK PORCH

You don't have to go very far to have a beautiful view. This is our back porch. You can play in the snow in our parking lot, or take a walk around town.

 

SNOW CAPPED MOUNTAINS

How amazing! Everywhere you look there are snow covered mountains. It makes a beautiful view, no matter where you are.

HIGHWAY 49

Hwy 49 goes directly in front of the Inn. We love to see this bridge covered in snow.
