Pet Policy

The Carriage House would like to welcome you and your pet.  Pet charge is $15.00 per night per pet.   While we enjoy Fido and Fluffy as much as you do, we have a few simple rules.

• We only accept Small Pets not to exceed 25 lbs.
• Pets are allowed in certain rooms, and only by pre-registration. Please don't show up with your pet without letting us know first, as we need to make sure we don't have too many pets here at the same time, and that you are booked in a pet acceptable room.

• Pets MUST be friendly with people and other pets.

• Please DO NOT leave your pet in the room (or your car) when you leave. They want to see Downieville too!

• Pets must be kept off the furniture in the rooms - extra cleaning charges will apply.

• Pets must be kept on a leash.

• Please pick up after your pet. There is a cleaning fee for any "accidents" that need to be taken care of.

As Downieville is known for it's trails, there are numerous off-leash dog walks available near the Inn. We will be happy to point you to appropriate off-leash areas.
